Welcome to Class 4 where we have 6 wonderful students, Nicole, Ryan, Kyria, Aoibhe, Tina and Colm.

May

We have had a visiting teacher Phillida read us a sensory story version of “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt” at the library. We made mud, smelled the grass along the way and squelched through the river. It was the most wonderful sensory experience.

April

Welcome back after our wonderful Easter holidays. We checked out the brand new swing at the playground and we celebrated Colm’s birthday. Colm turned 6 and we made him a chocolate biscuit cake from all our left over Easter eggs!

March

This month we have been enjoying yoga with Rory. The children practised lots of moves from last year and learned lots of new ones. They particularly like the “Banana Song”.

We had a very exciting Easter Egg hunt in preperation for Easter.

February

We are always very busy here in Class 4. This month we made some pancakes and some lovely Valentines cards for our Moms.

 

We have been covering the theme Around The World. We choose the country Kenya and the story Handa’s Surprise. Here are some pictures of all the wonderful activities we have enjoyed.

Earlier in January we had a very exciting visit to the Teddy Bears Hospital, where we had our teddy’s bandanged, xrayed, recieve medicine and even injections. The doctors did a great job making us all feel better.
