Class 3 19-20

Welcome to Class 3. Hadia, Christopher, Ann-Marie, Liam and Keith will be showcasing their hard work on this web page under the guidance of Lisa, Trish and Mags.

We have been working hard all year to achieve our ASDAN accredited certificates. As part of our ASDAN course we are working on our independent skills.

We stopped waiting for the sunshine and had a mini sports event in our classroom.

And of course we managed to squeeze in some pancakes!

After a lovely Christmas break we are back to work in Class 3.

We do our body awareness exercises every day and now our yoga instructor, Rory, is teaching us some new moves!

Merry Christmas from Class 3!

We have been so busy this month making cards and creating salt dough Christmas decorations.

Our sensory story this week is called The Snowman. We loved listening to Christmas songs, dancing with our snowman and then eventually seeing our snowman melt.

We are officially on the countdown to Santa!

It has been another busy month in class 3. Our theme this month is Winter so we have been busy participating in sensory stories, winter art and feeding the birds. We have been listening to Winter themed songs too.

Our wonderful, fun creative schools art teacher came for a visit! We had so much messy fun creating a Winter picture using leaves, twigs and herbs.

It’s Halloween! We have been busy making trick or treat bags, doing pumpkin collages, making a spooky cat and participating in our sensory stories, “Room on the broom” and “The spooky castle”. We even carved our class pumpkin.

We celebrated two very special birthdays this month.

Our theme this month is Autumn.  We have really enjoyed experiencing sensory stories, art work and nature walks around our theme.
